CLASSROOM MODULES

In the course of developing the content and activities for the after school science clubs, a number of modules have been developed.  Some of these are specifically for the science clubs and some have been based on classroom programs.  Others that were developed for science clubs have been modified to accommodate the differing age groups and time constraints of classroom use.  Following is a list of all of the modules as of April 2011.

For each of these modules MSSV has the equipment and reproducible class notes so that the teacher need only provide the students and a scheduled time and location.

We will consider other modules requested by teachers provided we have or can recruit the necessary talent.  If there is something you need, please ask.

Student-Volunteer

A volunteer (retired math professor) works with 7th grade students on experiment with ohm's law. MSSV owns a large number of the digital meters used in this experiment. Most schools don't have enough meters in working condition to carry out these experiments. MSSV maintains the meters and checks the calibration. We loan them to the schools so that the students can get good results.
